"Days of Autumn" festival held in the municipality of Anina, Romania
During the realization of the festival, held earlier this autumn in Anina, Romania, the city of Požarevac was represented by two associations of visual artists, ULIS "Đura Jakšić" and ULIS "Milena Pavlović - Barili" along with members who created paintings at the festival that focused on the same themes.
Artists participated by painting at the festival, which was held in honor of the autumn harvest. As part of the festival, many agricultural manufacturers and artisans exhibited their best products, and the guests from Požarevac had the opportunity to witness the authenticity of the Karas - Severin region and the Anina municipality themselves.
On the other hand, local and regional inhabitants, visitors and exhibitors had the opportunity to see how the art is created, and representatives of the associations donated several paintings to the hosts. The city of Požarevac gave a painting with the motives of the city to the partner municipality of Anina, as a symbol of successful cooperation that will continue after the completion of their joint project.
According to the established plan of activities, Požarevac and the municipality of Anina will, as partners, jointly participate in the realization of the festivals in Serbia and Romania, develop cultural cooperation between the two countries, encourage the development of tourism in the region, and support non-affirmed artists and associations in the process of building recognizablity on the market.
