A festival was held on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Pozarevac.
Within the realization of the festival held on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Požarevac in World War I and World War II, in the period from October 14th to the 16th of 2018, we mark exactly 100 years since the liberation in World War I.
Representative folklore groups and cultural and artistic societies from Anina (Romania), Požarevac and Kostolac, as well as the regionally famous pop band "Van Gog", performed at the festival, presenting themselves to the local audience and tourists in the best light possible. The satisfaction of the audience, as well as numerous applauds for the participants, are a true testament to the great interest in this event.
It is important to emphasize that the performances of the mentioned groups were held on stage, which was the property of the city of Pozarevac and which was purchased using the funds of the European Union, all within the framework of realization of the project called "Culture without Borders“.
